Aker Technology, a global manufacturer of innovative, competitively priced frequency control products, announces the release of its new 1612 ultra-miniature temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) series. The 1612 TCXO delivers industry-leading frequency stability, low power consumption, and high signal quality, all in a footprint substantially smaller than typical (2016/2520) devices.
Designed in an ultra-small package (1.6 × 1.2 mm), the 1612 TCXO optimizes board space for electronics used in high-density PCB designs for wearables, GNSS modules, IoT, and other applications, while delivering ultra-low power consumption ideal for battery-powered and portable devices. It also offers high temperature stability and precision (up to ±0.5 ppm over temperature), low phase noise and jitter for reliable timing and synchronization, and wide, customizable frequency coverage.
